Video Technics will introduce its third generation of NewsFlow, an all-digital tapeless newsroom solution at NAB2005.
NewsFlow v3.0 was developed to reduce costs, increase efficiency and control the entire production process. The solution now provides maximum asset management control via enhanced security options, including user profiles, user/group settings and storage quotas.
At the heart of NewsFlow is Video Technics' Apella video clip server, a scalable and robust server for ingest and playout. New features include complete offline and nearline archiving solutions through the Apella auto archive and an auto purge function for video clips and audio tracks.
