Advent Communications will unveil enhanced versions of its 1.5m and 1.8m NewSwift antennas to support high-power C- and Ku-band HD system requirements during IBC2008, Sept. 12-16, in Amsterdam.
The enhanced NewSwift antennas have a larger electronics pod that enable them to accommodate a pair of 400W C- or Ku-band TWTAs, either as 1+1 phase combined or 1:1 redundant pairs; a 1:1 redundant pair of 750W C- or Ku-band TWTAs; or a 1:1 redundant pair of outdoor SSPAs.
The enhanced 1.5m and 1.8m NewSwift antennas incorporate a new feed arm and interchangeable multiband feed cartridge assemblies to make it quick and easy to change the operating frequency.
