Bexel adds Grass Valley Super Slo-Mo cameras for ‘Monday Night Football’ coverage

The Grass Valley LDK 8300 uses the same head block as its normal speed HD equivalent, the LDK 8000, and features the company's proprietary Dynamic Pixel Management sensors to produce 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 images at 1X, 2X and 3X (selectable) speeds.
Broadcast equipment and production services provider Bexel has purchased two new LDK 8300 high-definition, Live Super Slo-Mo camera systems from Grass Valley that are initially being used by NEP Supershooters during the live production of ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” HD (720p format) telecasts each week during this season.
NEP Supershooters is using its SS25 all-HD truck to produce the "Monday Night Football” games for ESPN this season with a full complement of Grass Valley HD equipment.
In addition to the 8300 cameras, the Grass Valley equipment includes: 14 LDK 8000 WorldCam HD cameras, a Kalypso HD production switcher, a 110 HD switcher, a Concerto series HD-SDI video router and numerous GeckoFlex signal conversion modules.
