The new MAM platform now features integrated production tools to ingest, produce, playout and archive HD content.
Dalet will showcase the latest version of its DaletPlus (3.0) HD media asset management (MAM) solution at the Broadcast Asia 2009 exhibition to be held in Singapore from June 16-19.
Powered by DaletPlus 3.0, the media asset management platform is designed to manage HD content for archiving and repurposing workflows. It features integrated production tools to ingest, produce, playout and archive content.
The platform upgrade adds integrated CG production in the Dalet timeline; a new Dalet Dashboard module for system-wide monitoring and analysis; native integration with SeaChange video servers; and ingest technology based on cost-effective IT servers. It also offers end-to-end workflow, transparent support for SD and HD formats, low latency MXF, and mixed 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
Using IT-based servers, the system records various SD and HD formats continuously and provides distributed ingest. Third-party support includes SeaChange video servers and Data Direct Networks shared storage for ingest, production and playout. Native integration improves interoperability and eliminates repetitive copying, transferring and other cumbersome back-office processes.
