Evertz’ new VIP-X combines a reliable control room routing solution with a modular multi-image display system.

At IBC2007, Evertz will introduce the QT-3232-3G Topaz, further expanding the company’s range of video routers.

The format-agnostic design of the QT-3232-3G Topaz router accepts digital signals from 19.4 (SMPTE 310M) thru SDI, ASI, HD-SDI and up to 3Gb/s. The QT-3232-3G Topaz is fully modular and offers a hot-swappable design with SNMP interfacing and advanced system control.

Evertz will also showcase its QMC range of master control solutions, including enhanced branding features and a new desktop control panel for the QMC-2. The QMC-2, which provides master control for SD as well as HD channels, can be assembled to meet any need and size from a single channel up to a complex multichannel installation, under automation or manual control.

The company will also unveil VIP-X, which solves two problems at one time — the device provides a reliable control room routing platform and a modular multi-image display system in one integrated package.
