The Hanabi HVS-3800S production switcher is capable of handling both 4:3 and native 16:9 digital video signals.

The city of Tampa’s TV division recently purchased a FOR-A Hanabi HVS-3800S digital production switcher and installed it in its new 32ft production trailer.

The trailer is used to cover municipal meetings, news conferences and events that are telecast on public service channels. It serves as a control room for studio shoots and remote productions. Twelve inputs feed the switcher, four of which are from SD cameras.

The Hanabi HVS-3800S is a 2M/E digital production switcher capable of handling both 4:3 and native 16:9 digital video signals, with 10 auxiliary outputs.
