It handles tasks such as media ingest and file format conversion, allowing each asset to be repurposed for delivery via a variety of outlets, including broadcast, the Internet and packaged media. For ingest, the MBP-100SX MXF clip server converts MXF files to baseband video and HD-SDI signals, and vice versa, in real time. The converter uses a new video card that FOR-A developed that supports XDCAM HD, DVCPRO HD and AVC-Intra tapeless media files.
