The new XA88X8.8BES relies on Fujinon’s Precision Focus Assist to address difficulties in achieving precise focus in high definition.

Fujinon has introduced the XA88X8.8BESM HD telephoto lens, featuring an 88x magnification with a focal length of 8.8mm to 777mm.

The lens is available with Fujinon’s Precision Focus Assist (PFA) feature that addresses precise focus issues in HDTV production stemming from the format’s shallow depth of focus and the lack of size and resolution in camera viewfinders. The XA88x8.8 measures 258mm x 270mm x 625mm.

The lens comes with Fujinon’s GO-Technology that improves image resolution and chromatic aberrations at all focal lengths. Multiple aspherical lens elements are incorporated, with three zoom groups, enabling optimal optical quality spanning the entire zoom range.
