JVC unveils GY-HD250U HD camcorder

The GY-HD250U has built-in genlock capability and component and HD-SDI output.

JVC has introduced the GY-HD250U high-definition camcorder — a full HD resolution HDV camcorder offering studio capabilities and featuring 720/60p capture and recording for electronic newsgathering (ENG).

The GY-HD250U also offers the comfort and stability of a shoulder-style camcorder for ENG and cinematography applications.

The camcorder has built-in genlock capability and component and HD-SDI output. The camcorder features the choice of several interchangeable lenses, enhanced cinema gamma, external time code synchronization, BNC connectors, built-in mount for an Anton Bauer Gold Mount 14.4V professional battery and the patented focus assist feature.
