The Kahuna production switcher offers simultaneous SD and HD operations in the same mainframe with the same control panel

LMG recently purchased two additional Snell & Wilcox Kahuna switchers to build its third and fourth HD, multiformat fly pack systems.

In 2005, LMG custom built HD-1, its first HD multiformat fly pack system. Designed around the Snell & Wilcox Kahuna switcher, the system enables users to intermix HD and SD sources in the same switching system.

The Kahuna production switcher offers simultaneous SD and HD operations in the same mainframe with the same control panel and integrates SD sources into HD productions without outboard upconversion.
