For on-location sports interviews where set up time is short and power outlets are few and far between, Lowel Light has introduced new fluorescent lamp assemblies for its Rifa eXchange system.

The Rifa system, available in various sizes, offers 60-second setup for use as both soft and key lights, depending on the accessories. Rifa’s quick exchange lamp heads allow a wide variety of tungsten-halogen and incandescent lamps.

New to the line is a lamp head that takes screw-threaded daylight fluorescent lamps in single or clusters of bulbs. The smallest fluorescent lamps draw as little as 27W and remain cool while providing a 300W output.
