NEC is shipping a new line of digital projectors, the NP1000 and NP2000, with its ADVASuite in-theater advertising system. The NEC NP1000 and NP2000 both offer vertical and horizontal lens shift, which accommodate flexible projector placement. Optional accessories include five bayonet-style lenses.

Offering XGA 1024 x 768 native resolution, along with 3500 ANSI lumens for the NP1000 and 4000 ANSI lumens for the NP2000, the projectors are sufficiently powerful and bright to project with facility lights on or off. Both projectors offer integrated RJ45 connection for quick connection to the wired network LAN (10/100 base-T capability) as well as high-speed wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g via an optional wireless card. They are equipped with presentation, broadcast, data conferencing and training modes.
