The user interface for the custom interface to Pixel Power Clarity as used at the Australian Parliament
Vinten Radamec has chosen Pixel Power graphics systems to interface with its camera control units. A fully integrated system combining the functionality of Pixel Power’s Clarity character generators with Vinten’s controllers has already been sold to the Australia’s Department of Parliamentary Services.
The system comprises four Clarity GX systems that allow full creation and editing of material, as well as six lower-specification Clarity systems for playout. All systems interface directly to the Vinten/TSM robotic camera control system and the Sony editors for live production of parliamentary TV coverage. The department provides the TV and radio broadcasts of proceedings of the parliament's chambers and committees.
The solution centralizes all the data and files required to produce graphics in a searchable, dual-redundant central file system that interfaces with the existing network storage facilities. Material from the file system may be searched from any connected PC and loaded onto any of the attached Clarity graphics systems.
This eBook provides both new and veteran shooters an in-depth understanding of the technology that lies between the camera lens and the recording medium and how to maximize a camera's performance.
