Using the NVIDIA card, the eStudio system can generate real-time 3-D graphics for live HD sports broadcasts, HD programming with HD-SDI graphics, and real-time HD virtual sets for news, sports and weather.
PNY, in tandem with Brainstorm Multimedia and Google Earth, last week demonstrated how its NVIDIA Quadro FX SDI graphics card can enhance live HD broadcasts with real-time 3-D graphics.
Exhibiting its line of HD-SDI products at HD World 2007 in New York, PNY demonstrated its NVIDIA Quadro FX SDI powering eStudio, Brainstorm’s virtual studio and 3-D broadcast graphics software. Used by broadcasters, eStudio can generate real-time 3-D graphics for live HD sports broadcasts, HD programming with HD-SDI graphics and real-time HD virtual sets for news, sports and weather.
While running Google Earth, Google’s satellite imagery-based mapping product, the card —running on a dedicated broadcast server — produced photorealistic 3-D images and maps for HD broadcast graphics.
Delivering uncompressed SDI in 2K, HD or SD formats, the NVIDIA Quadro FX SDI graphics boards can be integrated into a range of professional broadcast solutions.
