Ross Video will introduce the DFR-8321 series openGear platform, offering free Ethernet control for setup and configuration, at IBC2009.
The new openGear DFR-8321 series is also available with an optional high-end network solution offering enhanced features, including DataSafe.
The DFR-8321 offers a full complement of 20 processing slots with an additional, dedicated slot for remote control and monitoring using the new MFC-8320-N, a high-end network solution. DataSafe is included as a standard feature with the MFC-8320-N. It stores all card parameters local to the frame, reducing downtime when hot-swapping solutions.
The MFC-8320-N offers SNMP as an option and has been enhanced to support slot-naming in the frame, IP address storage direct to the frame and DataSafe.
