WDRB-TV on TVClipFinder

WDRB-TV, FOX 41 in Louisville, KY, is one of the first to adopt TVClipFinder’s technology.

TVClipFinder.com is an automated TV recording and distribution service that makes it possible for local TV stations to collect, archive and distribute news clips for direct sale to viewers.

The service offers clip distribution portals that allow anyone to find and access desired local TV news content without the need of a traditional VCR- or DVR-based clipping service. Instead of referring viewers to outside video duplication services in order to purchase newscast dubs, stations can now generate the revenue internally.

WDRB-TV, FOX 41 in Louisville, KY, was one of the first to adopt TVClipFinder’s technology. Viewers select a link from WDRB’s Web site, www.fox41.com, and are redirected to www.fox41archives.com. Here, viewers can search, preview and purchase a newscast clip. Clips from newscasts as far back as six months can be downloaded directly from the site, or a DVD can be ordered by phone.
