At IBC2008, ARRI will unveil the latest enhancements to its True Blue lighting products.
The company has reduced the weight of True Blue lights while simultaneously strengthening the fixtures and improving their corrosion resistance. New, simplified access to components and a smooth lamp housing make cleaning easier.
ARRI also has enhanced the ability of the lampheads to adapt to accessories. The company has a stainless steel friction disc lock to eliminate the danger of forward tilting when heavy, front-mounted accessories are attached. A new stirrup center adjustment allows the lamphead to slide until its center of gravity is either at or near the tilt lock.
A new rotatable cable outlet permits quick adjustment between ideal cable orientations for both ceiling-grid and floor-stand mounting.
