Atlanta station adds Ross Vision switcher, SoftMetal server

Meredith-owned WGCO-TV is producing local news and other content in HD with the Ross Video Vision 4 QMD-X switcher and SoftMetal video server.
WGCO-TV, the Meredith-owned CBS affiliate in Atlanta now branded as CBS Atlanta, selected Ross Video’s Vision 4 QMD-X multidefinition production switcher and SoftMetal video server for its recent HD upgrade.
Ross was chosen for Vision’s feature set and SoftMetal’s tight integration with the switcher. CBS Atlanta has been broadcasting local HD programming daily with Ross since January 2009.
