Atlantic Video gets first Quantel Pablo HD color correction system in Washington, D.C.

Atlantic Video, a broadcast and film production and postproduction facility located at the Washington Television Center in Washington, D.C., has installed a Quantel Pablo HD nonlinear color correction system.

The company, which serves clients like Discovery Channel and National Geographic, employs a creative and technical team of 100 professionals supported by a $20 million, 53,000sq-ft custom designed facility.

The Pablo HD system was chosen for its color correction capabilities and background rendering features that allow users to see results in real time. The system can work in any resolution on the timeline and deliver whatever format the client desires.

Pablo HD also provides built-in editing, effects and versioning tools, which are valuable for last minute changes and fixes. Not having to move to a separate room for each service also saves clients time and money.
