Australian TV network Nine Network Australia has selected NTT Electronics HV9100 Series AVC/H.264 HDTV/SDTV encoders/decoders for use on its HD sports coverage.
The NTT Electronics HV9100 Series enables sports broadcasting with high-quality video and low latency. The HV9100 supports both 1080i and 720p HD as well as 480i and 576i SD and a maximum of two audio systems, for a total of eight-channel encoding and decoding. As an option, it can support up to 16 channels of audio input and an IP interface.
