Autoscript demonstrates new prompting software

Autoscript WinPlus software features the ability to prompt in English and Japanese languages on the same screen without changing any hardware or software.
Autoscript is showcasing enhanced functionality for its WinPlus prompting software at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBee) in Japan beginning Nov. 19.
WinPlus has been deployed on more than 4500 Windows-based PC systems worldwide. For the Japanese market, Autoscript is showcasing the ability to prompt in English and Japanese on the same screen without changing any hardware or software.
Also featured will be an array of prompting accessories with which any installation can be customized. These include Magno, a new range of presenter controls that use frictionless magnetic technology to deliver a longer life span than conventional controllers.
With WinPlus, when the software is interfaced to an electronic newsroom, the prompt text can be output to an encoder for closed caption display. The system has the ability to control the run order and can edit anywhere within the script, even when scrolling the on-air story.
