Jun 3, 2009 4:32 PM

AXON has enhanced its Synapse modular infrastructure and communications system with the GDK100 dual background input 3Gb/s, HD, SD downstream keyer.

The module has four triple-rate (SD, HD, 3Gb/s) inputs, including two background inputs, one fill input and one key input. It also has four triple-rate outputs, including two program outputs, one preview output and a user-definable output, which can be used as program, preview or modified key output. Depending on the connector panel, users have either Ethernet or GPI control.

As with most of the new Synapse modules, the keyer is also available in an SD or HD/SD version that both can be future upgraded to handle 3Gb/s.
