The Deko 3000 supports the production of both SD and HD, including 2-D and 3-D motion graphics featuring DVE-style transitions.

RTL-Tvi in Belgium is using six Avid Deko 3000 systems to improve its on-screen look for news. The Deko 3000 supports the production of both SD and HD, including 2-D and 3-D motion graphics featuring DVE-style transitions.

Four of the Deko systems will be set up in the control room, with additional systems linked to RTL-TVi's news automation system. In addition, PostDeko software will be installed in the graphics department, news gallery and production gallery.

The Deko systems will integrate with RTL-TVi's 10 existing Avid Media Composer Adrenaline suites, which will now also be equipped with TitleDeko Pro plugins to ensure smooth integration with the editing systems. All of the Avid systems, plus third-party graphic tools such as Photoshop, will be connected to a centralized and secure Avid Unity ISIS server, which will act as the shared host for station templates and the graphics library.

The contract, which includes a 20-day training program, was negotiated with long-standing Avid reseller, Video Promotion.

The Avid Deko product line enables fast graphic creation, time-saving macro scripting, the import of layered Photoshop files, integrated database access and support for automated playout.
