BNS, an Asian IPTV technology and content solutions provider, is launching a Native Video Turnaround (NVT) solution for hotels and multi-dwelling units at InfoComm Asia in Hong Kong.
The new system was designed to omit the need for enterprise-class encoders and delivers SD and HD content without loss of quality. The technology is priced at a fraction of the usual cost.
Mmany hotels and other multi-dwelling developments have substandard video quality because the technology is inferior or prohibitively expensive. The NVT system was designed with a novel approach that circumvents these quality and cost issues.
NVT also uses substantially less rack space, saves power and does not require a major refit of existing equipment. It is part of a turnkey, future-proof solution that includes HD IPTV and A/V automation and the Interactive Scan-Pen for IPTV, hospitality and catalogue shopping applications.
