Broadcast Pix ships 600th system to Texas Rangers

Broadcast Pix has announced the shipment of its 600th unit to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX, home of the MLB’s Texas Rangers.

The Rangers Ballpark video production team will use a Broadcast Pix Slate live video production system to broadcast replays during home baseball games on large video monitors in the ballpark.

For the price of a switcher, the Slate 2100 integrates multiview monitoring, a character generator, a clip store and aspect ratio management among other features. The Rangers Ballpark production team will use Slate to accommodate cameras, auxiliary source equipment and feeds from four live production trucks.
