Broadcast Technology unveils DTDA 3000 distribution amplifier

The DTDA 3000 ASI-DBV-compliant distribution amplifier continuously checks the transport stream validity of each input channel.

Broadcast Technology will introduce the DTDA 3000 ASI-DBV-compliant distribution amplifier which combines transport stream detection, switching and distribution in a single module.

The three-input, six-output DA is designed for use in broadcast signal monitoring and cable head-end applications. It continuously checks the transport stream validity of each input channel and sounds an alarm if stream sync is lost or data rate or null packets exceed the user-programmable threshold. Local, RS-232 serial interface and DARTnet provide users with monitoring options.

All inputs and outputs are 75 ohm impedance BNC 800 mV peak-to-peak (terminated). The single-slot DTDA consumes 8W of power and fits into a rack that can accommodate 14 cards.
