Avitel unveils TRE3581K, TGE3582K time code modules

Avitel will unveil two new time code products offering high sensitivity and user-selectable field-based and frame-based operation at IBC2003.

The TRE3581K time code reader/inserter is a successor to the TRE3381. Model TGE3582K is a VITC-to-LTC translator and LTC generator. It succeeds the TGE3382.

The new designs incorporate several extra features, including on-screen operating menu, date insertion (hours/minutes/seconds)and choice of four text sizes with white-on-black or black-on-ghost display. Text can be located anywhere on the preview monitor screen.
