BBC Technology to show Colledia production integration and control system

Aug 14, 2003 12:00 PM

BBC Technology will show its new Colledia product portfolio, media communications, and Internet solutions and consulting at IBC2003.

Colledia helps broadcasters and producers integrate the entire production process using standard IT equipment. Colledia Workflow places the benefits of a completely digitized system into the hands of everyone involved in the production cycle and encompasses all functions from content creation to multi-platform distribution. It has been developed for news, sport and collaborative production environments.

Colledia Control lets a single operator monitor and manage an entire broadcast infrastructure from his desktop through a touch-screen interface.

BBC Technology also will feature media communications, which provide broadcast quality, point to multi-point satellite and fiber services for content contribution and distribution.
