Drake Electronics to demonstrate FreeSpeak digital intercom

Drake Electronics will demonstrate FreeSpeak, a license–free, fully integrated digital wireless intercom system.

The FreeSpeak is a wireless intercom in a belt pack that does everything that a desk-mounted, hard-wired intercom does. This full-duplex, digital wireless device is part of a larger matrix consisting of a cell controller card, antenna splitter and active antennas. The cellular network of active antennas located around the production environment is connected directly to the Drake matrix. Each of the active antennas provides a radio cell that supports up to five belt-pack users.
The company will also show the 4000 series II intercom system. All 4000 series II intercom matrices have been designed to share the same core functionality, user panels and accessories. There are three matrix frame sizes with support for up to 3,000 users and a wide selection of user panels and interfaces.
Other Drake developments include a refresh range of key panels with high-contrast, tri-color LCD displays, new 24/7 support and an extensive range of networking solutions. Drake also will introduce new management software.
