NTT Electronics to show range of MPEG-2 equipment at IBC

NTT Electronics will show for the first time at IBC the new VASA LSI, which provides a single-chip HDTV 4:2:2 encoding and decoding solution.

Integrated into the new SC10KE and SC10KD HDTV modules, the VASA LSI can provide broadcast quality 4:2:2 1080i performance in a compact and low-power format.

In addition, the new MP2000 MPEG-over-IP solution and a new MPEG-2 Encoder Module targeted at the security/surveillance and distance learning/TV conferencing markets will be launched.
