QuVIS introduces QSS shared storage system for digital intermediate use
Aug 28, 2003 12:00 PM
QuVIS will introduce the QuBit Shared Storage (QSS) system for use
in digital intermediate applications among the post-production
community at this year’s IBC convention.
The QSS system allows content to be shared among multiple QuBits
within a post-production workflow without requiring the physical
transportation of digital media. QSS provides a format-independent
platform for standard definition, high definition and beyond with an
upgrade path to 4K.
Capitalizing on the elegance and efficiency of QuVIS' QPE
compression, QSS provides a practical post-production platform for
long-format digital intermediate work.
