The ThalesCrypt protects against illegal access to operator's contents in all contribution links.

The ThalesCrypt is a new DTV security service platform designed to protect contribution links. The new solution protects against illegal access to operator's contents in all contribution links. ThalesCrypt is based on the highest security scrambling mechanisms with proven cryptographic solutions. The solution provides an access rights management platform and scramblers. It also includes a full range of receivers/descramblers to adapt itself to a wide range of environments. It is easily scalable from typically 1 to 10,000 reception sites.

Thales will also unveil a new system for Internet Delivery via DTV Networks. The system, based on the OpenStream platform will be featured in a new Unicast configuration which allows access to high speed Internet in satellite or terrestrial TV networks either in DVB or ATSC environments. This tool handles end-user’s requests, manages their access rights, and has IP routing capabilities.

Also set to debut at the show will be a new turnkey Broadband Service Platform from Thales. The complete broadband platform will deliver TV programs, VOD and associated interactive services over DSL.
