Vinten Pro-6, Pro-10 pan, tilt heads offer lightweight, fluid drag for DV camcorders

Vinten will show a number of products at this year’s IBC including the new Pro-6 and Pro-10 lightweight pan and tilt heads for DV camcorders.

Continuously variable fluid drag and a capacity of either 6kg or 10kg ensure that these lightweight heads provide smooth movement and complete camera control.
Vinten also will unveil the Fibertec tripod, which is rigid, minimizing spring back at the end of a pan or tilt movement and reduces the effect of wind buffeting and camera shake.
The AutoCam SE-500 servo elevation unit will make its debut at the show. The SE-500 is a remotely controlled height positioning unit for use with AutoCam remote control systems. The SE-500 enables quick and easy positioning of camera height to be achieved from the control desk and allows stored height positions to be recalled with pan, tilt, zoom and focus.
Vinten also will introduce new AutoCam controllers: the Series 200 touch-screen controller; the PDC-125 laptop PC-based controller; and the SE-500 stand-alone solution for robotic pan and tilt elevation. LiveWave provides real-time control and management over a network connection.
