Canon to launch DIGISUPER 22xs studio lens at IBC2004

At IBC2004, Canon will make the European debut of its DIGISUPER 22xs, a new type of studio lens designed for the portable camera.

The Canon XJ22x7.3B offers optical performance for HD or SD applications in a small box-style design.

Additionally, Canon will exhibit the HJ22ex7.6B, which incorporates the company’s e-HDxs optical system featuring precision control.

Canon also will offer two new SD lenses, the J35ex11B IASD and J35ex15B IASD, which are designed for news and sports production and stabilized helicopter systems.

The number of new Canon FJs series high definition-electronic cinema (HD-EC) lenses will grow to six with the addition of the FJx55 lens with a fast T1.6 capability.

Canon also has expanded HD-EC zoom lenses with the new HJ8x5.5B KLL-SC lens. It is a wide angle companion to the HJ21x7.5B KLL-SC and HJ11x4.7B KLL-SC lenses with a focal length of 5.5~44mm and T2.1 capability.
