Canon has introduced the wide-angle HJ14ex4.3B HD lens, offering a focal length of 4.3mm and angular field of view of 96.3 degrees (2/3, 16:9) at the wide end.
The lens also features a 14x zoom ratio up to 60mm (120mm with extender). The new optical design delivers high resolution throughout the whole zoom range from center to corner, with minimized flare, ghost and focus breathing — and minimized distortion even at 4.3mm.
The lens was designed to be ergonomically friendly with the grip being closer to the axis, a repositioned zoom control, wider finger spaces on the focus and a new compact hood.
