Canopus to unveil Canopus Workflow, new EDIUS at NAB2005

Canopus will introduce the Canopus Workflow and a new EDIUS solution at NAB2005.

Canopus is uniting its real-time mixed editing solutions and transcoding expertise with its LAN-based video distribution technology to provide a workflow solution.

The complete networked workflow includes:

  • A shared asset system;
  • EDIUS HD/SD/HDV/DV real-time editing solutions;
  • ProCoder Station, the new network-based encoding solution;
  • MediaEdge, a video distribution system that delivers video over LAN-based networks.

The company will also show the new EDIUS Pro 3 NLE software to provide native editing and real-time processing of uncompressed SD, HD, HDV, DV, MPEG-2, and MPEG-1 formats.
