Chief upgrades monitor mounts

Chief has modified its Centris cup for easier monitor connections.

Chief Manufacturing has introduced an updated cable management system and Centris cup to reduce time and effort for mount and monitor installations.

The new cable management system is included on all height-adjustable swing arm mounts, handling monitor sizes from 10in to 26in. The system provides more room for cables and includes a decorative cable cover that slides for access while concealing cables in its home position.

Chief's Centris cup, the interface that attaches monitors to the mount, is now available with modified hole patterns to reduce the need for spacers in recessed mounting patterns. This newly designed cup fits most monitors that have recessed backs and allows for lower profile installations.

The new cable management system is now shipping, and the new Centris head will be included on all Chief monitor mounts shipping early August.
