Chrosziel introduced its new HDV SunShade 455-R1 to Europe at IBC2007.
The design features optimum stray light reduction, low weight, wide-angle capability with the 16:9 format and one filter stage for comfortable use of polarizer filters.
The 110mm clamp adapter allows the use of existing Chrosziel adapter rings and covers the dimensions of all wide-angle converters. For the new Canon WD-H72 with 109mm, only 1mm smaller in diameter, a light flexible intermediate ring has been developed.
With the existing Intermediate Ring 411-49 reducing from 110mm to 104mm, the Chrosziel standard screw-in rings from the 104mm series can be used.
