Hungarian state-owned TV network Duna Televízió (Duna TV) has purchased two MicroX and two LX graphics systems to provide graphics capabilities for its studio and Outside Broadcast (OB) facilities.
Duna TV will use one of the Chyron LXs as the heart of its graphics playout in its six-camera OB vehicle, which is used for major live events throughout Hungary including sports, drama and music concerts. The second LX will be used in the studio to deliver graphics for its 24/7 news bulletins.
The two MicroX graphics systems will play a major role in both of the station’s playout and production studios, delivering graphics content that can be created on or offline, locally or remotely.
The LX is Chyron’s scalable SD character generator and the MicroX is an entry-level system available in SD- or HD/SD-switchable configurations.
