Chyron has unveiled its ChyTV.net Web-based content distribution services for digital signage networks. The service works with the company’s ChyTV Player product line.
The system is designed for simplified setup and management. The ChyTV Player devices pull content from the Web-based server, eliminating firewall issues and ensuring security. Content can be sent to the Web-based server from an Internet-connected computer. ChyTV players poll the server for changes to the content and remain synchronized, and can back-haul as-played log data for verification purposes.
ChyTV.net also integrates third-party data services offering access to news, sports, weather and other online feeds.
