At NAB2008, Clear-Com Communication Systems unveiled Clear-Com Concert, a new software-based intercom system.

The new multiuser conferencing and intercom product provides broadcasters of all sizes with a reliable means of communication. Based on voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, Clear-Com Concert’s enhanced audio delivers crystal-clear sound and non-blocking communications over a standard local area network (LAN) or Internet connection between local and remote users. This eliminates the need to pick up a phone or connect to a conference bridge.

An intuitive interface facilitates ad-hoc communications and makes users the conductors of their own audio conference with easy drag-and-drop functionality and simple point-and-click controls. The presence awareness feature monitors participants’ availability, allowing users to communicate in highly demanding and collaborative settings.
