Codex is an ultra-high-resolution media recording system designed to capture moving images and sound from digital motion picture cameras.

Both portable and highly reliable, Codex can record in a variety of formats, from two channels of HD/2K digital film to uncompressed 4K.

Equally well suited for on-location work or the studio, Codex uses removable media DiskPacks, RAID and mirroring for security. It has a built-in touch-screen interface and dedicated transport controls, making it an easy-to-use, self-contained recording system. It can interface with nearly any digital camera system.
