Conax debuts CAS7 conditional access system

Apr 21, 2005 8:00 AM

Conax introduced the CAS7 modular conditional access system at NAB2005.

Built on the company's security technology platform, the modular CAS7 allows a digital TV operator to start with a basic system supporting pay TV and subsequently add components to support more complex operations and business models.

It requires minimal up-front investment for installation of the full system (Conax CAS7 Core plus all modules) or a partial system with certain key modules.
