DataBridge brings live news to Chyron DynaCrawl

The Chyron DynaCrawl system uses the DataBridge service from BTi to give broadcasters access to a full menu of information feeds.

Business Technology (BTi), a provider of automated broadcast graphics applications, has announced the availability of DataBridge for the Chyron DynaCrawl broadcast graphics systems.

DataBridge for DynaCrawl provides broadcasters with a Web-based, point-and-click service that delivers a stream of operator-selected real-time news and information formatted for SD, HD and HD/SD switchable DynaCrawl system configurations.

The system uses the DataBridge service from BTi to give broadcasters access to a variety of information feeds from international, national and local news, sports, weather and entertainment news services.

With a secure Web user interface DataBridge allows users to add or change a data stream from the menu. Changes occur instantly, giving broadcasters the flexibility to meet any information delivery requirement. A flat subscription fee provides complete, continuous access to the entire menu of information sources.

DataBridge is a fully managed data service that buffers broadcasters from typical data provider pitfalls such as changing news wire data codes by continuously updating itself in the background.  BTi continuously monitors the entire service from its own data center to the broadcaster's local server. Built-in monitoring and robust redundancy ensures seamless, uninterrupted data flow.

Once the broadcaster has selected feeds, DataBridge automatically creates capture files designed specifically for Chyron's DynaCrawl. The user drags and drops those files in the DynaCrawl interface to design the crawls and tickers for display.
