Employing a distinctive mechanical folding structure, Dielectric Communications has launched a new switchback filter optimized specifically for the 700MHz broadcasting spectrum. The new filter reduces the amount of space required to decrease signal interference issues while still maintaining a 1.8kW power output.

The mask filter's rack-mountable package fits within a standard 19in rack and provides high-quality electrical performance with an extremely low integrated insertion loss of less than 1.1dB. It also offers temperature compensation within +/- 10kHz and an overall temperature range of 0 to 45 degrees Centigrade, and a VSWR of less than 1.25:1.
