Dielectric Communications has received its ISO 9001:2008 certification by meeting the stringent requirements outlined in the standard.
Created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO 9001:2008 is the newest update of the worldwide ISO 9000 standard, which lays out specific requirements an organization needs to fulfill to achieve customer satisfaction through consistent products and services.
Companies receiving the certification must demonstrate that they have a set of procedures that cover key business processes, monitoring to ensure the procedures are effective, have systems that check output for defects, and facilitate corrective action and continual improvement. After a series of audits and assessments by an independent certification body, Dielectric was able to transition its previous ISO 9000 designation to the new ISO 9001:2008 certification.
