DiGiCo will showcase its digital console line at the 2009 InfoComm show, (Booth 6373) including the large-format CS-D5 along with the SD7 and SD8 consoles featuring its Stealth Processing engine. The company also will spotlight the MACH2 software suite for the SD7, now available onboard all new SD7 consoles and as a free upgrade to SD7 owners.

The MACH2 software suite is designed to extract more power from DiGiCo's Stealth Processing engine. Enhancements include DiGi-TuBe super FPGA preamp tube emulation, with full drive and bias control individually controllable on all 256 processing paths; dynamic EQ; multiband compressor; and talk-to-buss with dim function, a dedicated talkback channel that can be routed to any aux buss. Eight bands of parametric EQ have also been added. Powering the SD7 is the Stealth mixing and routing engine, based on super FPGA technology and providing 128 simultaneous 192kHz signal paths, or 256 at 48kHz/96kHz.

The compact, road-ready SD8 has a fixed architecture and employs a smaller super FPGA than the SD7, yet it retains the features of the DiGiCo D Series plus the advances made in the SD7, including Stealth Digital Processing.

Digico's CS-D5 live digital mixing system's technical advantages include a full 48 busses (ideal for coping with the ever-increasing use of in-ear monitors), 128 input channels (expandable to 160), 41 touch-sensitive faders, four touch screens and multioperator ability in a compact frame size. The CS-D5's MADI (standard) and Optocore (optional) interfaces improve versatility, and the ability to share stage racks integrates live performance, broadcast, FOH and monitors, eliminating the need for mic splitters. The CS-D5 uses 40-bit floating-point audio processing for exceptional dynamic range in a complex mix compared to fixed-point processing.
