The new software version for the StreamZ and StreamZHD systems tightens the gap between broadcast television operations and new distribution platforms.

Digital Rapids will show a full range of media repurposing and delivery tools — from individual appliances to integrated, multisolution workflows — at NAB in Las Vegas.

The products help integrate video with IT infrastructures and include capabilities for file ingest, encoding, transcoding, streaming, delivery and playout. The company’s solutions are targeted for Internet TV, IPTV, VOD, broadcast, post production, mobile video and archiving.

Among the new products are updated versions of StreamZ and StreamZHD systems for multiformat live and on-demand encoding solutions. The new software version for StreamZ and StreamZHD systems would further close the gap between broadcast television operations and new distribution platforms.

Digital Rapids will also introduce a new TouchStream live video streaming appliance, said to be ideal for portable or in-house use. The TouchStream appliances offer ease of use through a touch-screen interface with integrated video monitoring.

A new version of the company’s Transcode Manager distributed media transcoding software will also be shown. It features expanded format support, enhanced enterprise integration capabilities and direct support for leading third-party quality control analysis tools for automated verification of output files.
