Digital Rapids will unveil several solutions for media ingest, encoding, transcoding and distribution at IBC2004.

They include:

  • StreamZ, a media ingest, encoding and transcoding platform featuring concurrent encoding of live media into multiple formats.
  • Copper, a combination of the company’s video ingest, processing and transcoding with patented wirespeed delivery technology from Digital Fountain. Copper can deliver data or media reliably, securely and with a speed advantage over TCP-based technologies, such as FTP.
  • StreamZHD and CarbonHD, a turnkey system that includes CarbonHD hardware and StreamZHD software to capture, encode, transcode and deliver media in multiple formats.
