DNF Controls is now shipping its ST304-DSR1K product, which provides VTR-like control of Sony's DSR-DR1000 DVCAM hard-disk recorder, enabling the user to create, save and recall clips for instant replays. The ST304-DSR1K supports simultaneous record and playback, so users can mark cue points on the fly and play back video instantly without disrupting the record process. The controller features a T-bar for fast, simple and smooth slow-motion instant replay; 100 cue points per DSR-DR1000; and support of up to two DSR-DR1000s for a two-record and two-playback configuration.
